As part of a British exhibition’s celebration of the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone’s launch, there will be two new entries in the Harry Potter canon, Bloomsbury has revealed.

The first, Harry Potter: A History of Magic — The Book of the Exhibition is pretty much what it says on the cover: it’s the British Library’s Harry Potter exhibition, A History of Magic, magically diluted to book form.

Harry Potter: A Journey Through A History of Magic, on the other hand, will provide insight into all things magical, such as alchemy, unicorns, and the art of ancient witchcraft.

The books will release in October. There is no word on whether either of these “non-fiction” volumes will ever grace the IGCSE curriculum.
